Making Your Own Prophecy
Based on Macbeth's transformation throughout the play, what do you think is going to happen to him in Act 5? What do you think will happen to Lady Macbeth, or Fleance, or Macduff? Be sure to explain your thinking--defend your prophecy with evidence from the play.

I think that Macbeth is going to snap finally and he will end up killing a lot of people. I think that Macduff is going to lead an extremely strong assault on Macbeth's fortress. However Malcolm and Macduff both want vengance and I think that this will end up in their fighting over who will kill Macbeth. Fleance may however want to have vengance and join the armies of Malcolm and Macduff.
I think that like Nathan, Macbeth is going to go to far. And in going to far, he is going to kill too many people and someone is going to find out. I think that Macduff or Fleance is going to be the first to know of all the murders Macbeth has committed. I think Macduff and Malcolm may go too far in trying to get revenge, that they will not be able to do anything else, and Fleance will "save the day" and become king because he stayed out of the picture and in the background.
I think that Macbeth will hold Macduff out for a while, but is still hireing hit-men to kill for him. Lady Macbeth will see that this needs to stop, and will kill him. Fleance will then comeout of hiding and assume the title of king of scottland.
I think Fleance will stay in hiding until there are more against Macbeth so that he can join them instead of going alone. Macbeth I think will eventually get killed by Macduff and Malcom because of what an awful person he has turned out to be. Lady Macbeth will either join the "good" side, or she will die along with Macbeth. I think good will win in this case because it typically does.
I think that Macbeth will continue his murderous ways in act 5. He has almost killed off the men he needs to and dont think he will stop until he has them all. I think that Fleance will come back for revenge on Macbeth, and I think the Macduff he will hear about a plan to kill him and he will end up killing Macbeth.
Macbeth is going more and more crazy as the play progresses. Fleance has gone into hidding since he is on Macbeth's murdering list and Macduff is furious, but suspects Macbeth for killing his family. Malcolm and Macduff join forces which I think will help bring Fleance out of hiding and ready to join the fleet. I'm guessing that Macduff will be the one to kill Macduff but not before Macbeth kills his wife. I also think that Fleance will become king in the end.
Well like we were talking about in class about Macduff being like Macbeth, and in the end of this scence he vowes to kill Macbeth's family.
I also think all the prophecies will come true, because they have so far all come true. Macbeth is the one making them true. Almost all of them were caused by him. And he's the one who started them comming true, and now he's trying to stop them from comming true, but instead it's just making them come true. Maybe if he just stopped and did nothing the madness will finally stop, but i don't think that will happen.
I think that Macbeth is going to end up going crazy and this fragile mental state will bring im to his downfall. He is so paranoid that he will let his secrets out because he keeps killing and someone will catch him. I think that Macduff will be killed by Macbeth or one of his henchmen. I think that Fleance, wanting revenge, will kill Macbeth and, according to the witchies prophcy, will become king and his family will be in power for years and years to come. As for Lady Macbeth, she will probably become a homeless old hag. That or she will marry Fleance.
I think Macbeth is going to finally be overthrown. I think Fleance will come and overthrow him for his fathers sake, and for Scotland.
I think that Lady Macbeth will leace Macbeth because he is going crazy, and hiding things from her.
I also think that Macduff will come back and with Fleance, and help over-throw the king.

I think that in Act V, Macbeth will send murderers to murder Fleance, Macduff and Malcom. In the past he started to murder people, then he became king and had murderers do his dirty work for him. Now that Macbeth is aware that there is a war about to start to overthrow him, I think he will turn to murder and try to kill all of ther leaders to prevent this war from ever happening, that way, he can still keep his throne. To Macbeth, everything is about the throne and he probably won't want to risk it. After all is done, I think that Macbeth will be so crazy that his wife will end up killing him. When it said that no man born from a women can kill you, it doesn't say anything about a women, and there aren't any other women that could kill him.
Just like everyone else so far has said, I also think that Macbeth is going to take the murdering too far and he will not be able to control his actions. Somehow Macduff will find out that Macbeth has plans to kill him and he will take his own actions and kill Macbeth before Macbeth gets the chance to murder again.
I think Macbeth will stand strong for a while then soon become overthrown by Fleance with the help of Malcolm and Macduff. Macbeth will also kill a lot of people without anyone knowing about it, then soon someone will uncover it all.
I would like to make some predictions about how the "apparitions" will stay true...
I think that Macbeth will become such a liability to Lady Macbeth (revealing the truth)that she will end up killing him ("no man etc"). I think that the warning about Macduff comes because Macbeth kills him and thats the final straw until he goes completely wacko, which causes Lady Macbeth to kill him. I think that his downfall will be because the weapons of the other army are made out of the wood from that forest.
I think that Fleance is going to stay in hiding untill he has his own alliance to go after Macbeth. Macbeth will find out about it, but not in time and he will be running away. But Lady Macbeth stops him and tells him that if he confesses maybe they will forgive you. But Macbeth doesn't agree, so he flees. But Macduff catches up with him and they have a fight. Also i think that Macduff will try to talk to Macbeth and try to make peace, but Macbeth wont allow it to happen. Which makes Macbeth look guilty!
I think that Macbeth and Macduff are going to get into a really tense soward fight. During the fight Fleance is going to sneek up behind Macbeth and kill him. After doing this Macduff is going to freak out and kill Fleance just because he freaked out and then after it all happens Macduff is going to be the only one alive and he will get blamed for all of the muders and then he will be killed because everyone wants him dead! That is what i think
I think that Macduff, Fleance, Malcolm and Donalbain, and all others who want revenge on Macbeth will bring together an army to overthrow him--these people attacking Macbeths throne could be related to the apparition that said he would be safe until the woods rise and come to his castle. The woods in the apparition could be a metaphor for this army. I also think however, that their efforts to overthrow Macbeth will be shortlived because he is to be killed by no man born of a woman, and Macbeth is already on the verge of insanity and will most likely kill anyone standing in his way. I think that either Lady Macduff, or his own wife Lady Macbeth will end up killing him.
Macbeth will become overly confident and therefore will be vanquished by Macduff. Lady Macbeth will snap under the pressure of covering up the evils each commited and due to the paranoia of discovery
Fleance will somehow aid Macduff in deafeating Macbeth and therefore will become king.
I agree with Nathan that Macbeth will end up killing abunch of people. I also think that he will finally be killed by an army of people or he will end up killing his wife and then himself. I think Macduff will end up being the king of scotland and fleance will die making the witches prophacies wrong. The whole plot will definitly change up at the end and no one will expect what will happen.
I think that MAcbeth will try to kill Macduff before MAcduff tries to kill Macbeth and I also think that because as we know in act 4 that Macbeth went to visit the Witches' and the witches's told Macbeth that he should be afraid of Macduff and that Banquos family will carry the throne and it shall be Fleance who carries the throne.
I think that in act 5 macbeth is going to stop killing people. but because hes going to stop killing people he is going to go craxy and freak out.
