Everyone feels guilty about something, and the movie Minority Report and the book The Kite Runner, both main characters are hiding from their past, and the extent they go to is remarkable.
My Thesis: Both Minority Report and The Kite Runner reveal that the strive for redemption and forgiveness results in an effort to change what has happened in the past by controlling what takes place in the future.
In Minority Report and The Kite Runner, both of the characters are haunted by their actions in the past; and in their quest for personal salvation they discover about the choices they have and their effect on other people.
Together, Minority Report and Macbeth disclose that men are not the sole manager of power in a male-female relationship; each character has an opposite that controls their fate just as much as they do.
